❖ Favorite Destination So Far:
It’s so hard to choose! It’s probably the Islands of Tahiti: Bora Bora, Moorea, and Tahiti. It was luxurious, the food was amazing, and it was just so special to be in the middle of the ocean and away from it all. Close runners up include Greece, Switzerland, Singapore, and Banff (Canada).
❖ Bucket list trip:
Vietnam. I can’t wait to explore more of Asia and Vietnam has been on my list for years!

I love planning trips that are unique and special. I want to find that special activity or place that people talk about for years to come.
I’m able to do that in each of the 4 brands I focus on: Cruises, Romance, Luxury, Family.
❖ why I love being a travel advisor:
For years, I’ve said that half the fun of a vacation is the planning and the other half is the experiencing! I love learning about destinations and finding the things that make each place unique. As a Travel Advisor, I get to do this every day!
More than 20 years ago, I went to school to become a Travel Advisor, but I wasn’t able to make the career change at that time. So, I started planning vacations for my family and friends – anything from honeymoons to group cruises to luxury getaways. I planned it all, just for fun. Then, my husband met someone while on a vacation who was a Travel Advisor who started out part-time and ultimately made a full-time business of it. He looked at me and said, “you should do that”. Shortly after, TRU Vacations was born and my journey as a Travel Advisor (and business owner) began!
I am a member of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) , and hold the ASTA Verified Travel Advisor credential. I also am a member of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and have extensive experience planning cruises. Finally, I am a member of the Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA) and love planning romantic and luxurious honeymoons as well as destination weddings.
